The Fees Structures of the Govt Sivagangai Medical College is followed as mandated by the Directorate of Medical Education under the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of the State of Tamilnadu, India.

The fees are considered the lowest among premier medical institutions in the country and globally, as a major part of the fee requirements are subsidized by the Government of Tamilnadu, keeping in heart the welfare of the students coming from economically disadvantaged sections of the society.

The government in addition to these unseen subsidies, also provides over the board subsidies in form of school fees and hostel fee scholarships through multilateral agencies like the Adi-Dravidar Welfare Assistance, Backward Classes Assistance and the like.

Certain sections of the students also avail free book bank facility for the graduate medical study period. In addition many central and state government agencies subsidize education in variable proportions.
