The department functions with an Assistant professor, Senior & Junior residents and a STD counsellor.

I. OP:
OP Room- Male & Female

II. WARD: Available with 10 beds per single unit.


 Daily about 50-60 cases are seen in OPD and monthly of 1300 cases are seen.

Lab facilities:   Gram-stain & KOH staining and wet mount are being done.

Special Procedures done:
Auto innoculation therapy for warts.
Autologous serum therapy for chronic urticaria.
Purified Protein therapy for Palmo- plantar & periungual warts.
Hemotherapy for chronic non healing ulcers.
Excision of benign skin lesions.
Estipation for Molluscum Contagiosum
Shaving of Nevi.


Ongoing Research Projects:

1.       Clinical study of cutaneous manifestations of HIV and AIDS- Dr Abirami.
