The department is functioning with a team of Professor , Associate professor, Assistant professor, Senior residents and Junior residents.
NON TEACHING STAFF:
Ophthalmic Assistant -1.
OP Room- 4 cubicles , 2 for Male & 2 for Female patients
Case Demonstration rooms.
Single ward with 20 beds.

V. Seminar Room with seating capacity of 50 students.
Daily OP – average of 50 cases per day.
Screening of patients for diabetic retinopathy , hypertensive retinopathy, glaucoma and pre ART evaluations are done in the OP.
Average of 2 camps are conducted per week for screening of cataract and patients are referred to medical college for cataract surgery from primary health centres.
Inpatient census is around 30 – 40 cases per day.
Pre cataract evaluation is done after admission and Post Op care is given after surgery and patients are followed upto 45 days.

Secondary IOL implantation like ACIOL, Iris claw lens,etc
Minor Surgical Procedures:
Incision & Curretage for chalazion
Ndyag laser capsulotomy
Ndyag laser iridotomy
Services are rendered to visually disabled patients and eye donation campaigns are done.
Average surgery per day - 8 cases
Annual surgical performance - 1200 cases per year
